The Rookwood Bar & Restaurant: A Culinary Gem in Cincinnati

Went for lunch and sat on the patio. Very good service! Everyone was kind and made us feel welcomed. We got the full sized fish and chips to share and the portion was perfect for two on a hot day. Loved the batter on the fish and the fries were thick and full of potato. Enjoyed a local draft beer. A large fan on the patio was broken, but fortunately we had our own small travel fan that kept us comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!

The fish chips here are excellent. The batter is light and crispy. The bread pudding is delicious. The servers were very friendly.

First time travelling with a pet (dog) looking for a place to stop and eat that was pet friendly. Went to a few establishments and would not clean off the tables outside for us. Stop at this location and not only was it pet friendly it was pet welcome. There was live music, wonderful patio, amazing service and excellent atmosphere. In addition to welcoming our pet, they provided us a pet menu to order for our dog and complementary water bowl. If you’re travelling with pets or looking for a great outside environment, this is an amazing stop. Locals are all also extremely friendly!

Four of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. The fish and chips are everything one would expect from a London pub. The atmosphere was fairly loud, but fun, as they were very busy. The pricing seemed appropriate for the experience. I look forward to visiting again next time we are in the area.

Happy we could make reservations on a Friday night. Our guests really enjoyed the fish and chips. We had steak frites and gouda pasta. Nicely prepared and presented in a comfortable atmosphere. Ordered fish and chips to go and loved how well it was packed. Piper was appropriately attentive and pleasant!

Great Establishment We had a celebration of life for my father here and the event could not have been more seamless- absolutely stress free with excellent communication and planning, to having evrything ready on the day of the event. Carol was excellent at making certain food, staff and audio visual equipment were set and ready. Destiny and her fellow waiters were very attentive and accomodating- they received high regards from all the guest. The food was excellent as well complimenting the whole experience. I would encourage anyone wanting to plan an event that they very much so consider this well organized establishment. Mike Folger

It's so nice coming to a themed bar and restaurant that actually matches your expectations and for a pub experience this place is authentic and great.

These Reuben rolls in the picture are amazing absolutely great but I stopped for burger and the burgers here the one I had was horrible like absolutely terrible. I would go to red Robin over this place any day. However, the server Alie is amazing. I’m a truck driver so I’m around servers all the time they do have one of the best here!
